JHRTS News & Announcements
We are grateful to be bringing back our second year members who were such an integral part of our success last year and excitedly welcome our new board members who represent an even wider and more diverse sample of the television industry. A couple of the exciting new initiatives already being worked on by our new board are a JHRTS tracking group, an expanded Facebook and internet presence and aggressive commitment to more highly publicized events and group recognition. As a board, we will continue to foster unique and creative educational functions to service our membership and the young Hollywood community. The first of which being a discussion on the quickly changing advertising business and its evolving relationship with television. With this event and all further events throughout the year we will be organizing the best and brightest from all different sides of the television business to share their history, philosophies and wisdom with the eager up and coming members of our constituency. In terms of our classic roundtables and panels, the focus for our board this year will be to truly engage our audience with topics that are extremely relevant, cutting edge and are a little outside the traditional topics of past. We want to evolve slightly ahead of the curve and be out in front of our rapidly changing business. As an organization, we will continue to grow in membership and expand our reach and influence across the entertainment community. Through fun industry mixers at engaging venues, topical and high impact industry panels and roundtables and well executed philanthropic events we are committed to raising our profile this year.
