JHRTS News & Announcements

By Mark Ambrose & Kathleen McCaffrey, JHRTS Co-Presidents

JHRTS held a very successful “speed networking” event on April 21st.  Over 100 people showed up at Falcon in Hollywood for a fun night of industry schmoozing.  The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, so this will definitely be a recurring event for us in the future.

We have a lecture planned for May 20th to examine the series development process “from Page to Stage.”  Kathy White from CAA will be moderating a panel that includes Jonathan Davis, Head of Comedy Development at 20th Century Fox TV, Katie O’Connell, Head of Drama Development at NBC, and David Nevins, President of Imagine Television.  The lecture will take place at CAA.

JHRTS is hosting its fourth community service event of the year on May 17th in partnership with “Heal the Bay,” a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping Southern California’s coast clean.  Our group will be in Venice Beach.

We have a few more events in the works for June, so visit www.jhrts.com for more details.

"Speed Networking" event a Success!
