Welcome new HRTS Members

Membership continues steady growth!


The HRTS is proud to welcome the following new individual and corporate members to the ever growing HRTS family (new since August 2007):

Individual Members:

Russell H. Myerson, EVP/GM, The CW PLUS, an innovative delivery system servicing markets ranked 100-210 via a group of digital subchannels, analog, and cable television outlets for The CW Television Network. Prior to The CW PLUS, Myerson was the top executive of The WB 100+ Station Group, a division of The WB Television Network.  Under his leadership, the company simultaneously launched 80 new stations in September 1998. Prior to joining The WB, Myerson was SVP, Operations at Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Game Show Network. He began his career at KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, LA.  He later joined WJKS-TV in Jacksonville, FL, before going on to spend eight years as director of programming for Media General Broadcast Group. Among hs many industry credits, Myerson also served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer of NATPE International in 1994.

Gary Shusett, Founder/Director, Sherwood Oaks Experimental College. Founded more than 30 years ago, Shusett’s former students who have become major players include James Cameron, Dean Devlin, Paul Haggis, Nancy Meyers, Sylvester Stallone, et al. His own producer credits include feature movies Final Terror and Moon Over Parador. Shusett's philosophy is to get speakers who are very successful in the industry into a small setting giving screenwriters a rare opportunity to meet and give material to key players in Hollywood.
