  JHRTS had an excellent month of February as our organization continues to succeed, innovate and generate interest. We hosted a lively roundtable with ABC’s Head of Programming and Scheduling, Jeff Bader. Jeff shared his vast knowledge of broadcast network scheduling with 15 excited JHRTS members, eager to learn about one of the most important yet little known aspects to broadcast television. Jeff highlighted different strategies he has implemented and why, gave our group a compelling retelling of his own biography and how he has achieved what he has, and fielded a vast array of scheduling based questions from our inquisitive group. This event highlights JHRTS’ commitment to providing our members access to the important players in television and showcased how thoughtful and ambitious our membership is. Jeff was an incredible participant and set a high bar for our planned future roundtables.
JHRTS also continued its year long trend of taking over the hottest night spots in Hollywood with an energetic mixer at the brand new, super exclusive Haute Lounge in West Hollywood. Another capacity crowd mixed and networked until closing time. We signed up quite a few new members and generated significant interest in our upcoming “Cable: Buy/Sell” Panel in early March. JHRTS continues to lead the way in terms of sophisticated, exclusive, industry mixers in and around Hollywood.
Although a lighter month in terms of events, JHRTS was hard at work planning incredible events for the spring including the afore mentioned panel at CAA, a big time comedy event, two amazing philanthropic events and of course more mixers!
