Jonathan Littman featured at first lecture
In November we hosted our first lecture of the season at The Beverly Wilshire, featuring Jonathan Littman of Bruckheimer TV, and moderated by Peter Micelli of CAA. It was a great event - Jonathan had some amazing stories to share (in particular about the start of CSI and The Amazing Race). We are all looking forward to a panel lecture we’re planning for January with the cooperation of the ACLU to discuss censorship, free speech, and political discourse on television.
5th Annual JHRTS Holiday Party Benefiting Michael J. Fox Foundation
Our annual holiday party took place on December 5th at Vanguard in Hollywood and was once again a huge success. The event drew over 600 of Hollywood’s brightest and most influential up and comers representing studios, networks, and talent agencies. Through ticket sales, corporate sponsorships, and raffle tickets, we raised more than $15,000 for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research.
