Corporate Member: Starz Media
Robert B. Clasen, Chairman/CEO, Starz, LLC. Clasen is responsible for all business, strategic, personnel, legal and financial matters, and for generating growth and new business opportunities for Starz Entertainment, Starz Media and Overture Films. He joined Starz Entertainment in 2003.
Neil Braun, President of Distribution and Marketing, Starz Media. In addition to his strategic management role in the international multi-media company, Braun oversees worldwide sales and marketing. Before, he was President, Feature Films and Television, at IDT Entertainment, which became Starz Media when it was acquired by Liberty Media and merged with Starz Entertainment. Prior to Starz, Braun was President of the NBC Television Network. Before that, Braun was Chairman and CEO of Viacom Entertainment.
Kent Rice, CEO, Starz Animation, develops and produces animated feature-length movies. Most recently, he had been executive adviser to Starz Entertainment, helping acquire the newly named Starz Media and the integration of Starz Media with Starz Entertainment. Among upcoming feature films is Everyone’s Hero. Scheduled for release in 2007 and 2008 are Space Chimps and Sheepish. Prior, from 1995-2004, he served as president/CEO of Int’l. Channel Networks, a subsidiary of Liberty Media.
John W. Hyde, Vice Chairman. Hyde manages Starz Home Entertainment – including the Anchor Bay and Manga brands – and has the additional responsibility for new business, partnership development, and industry and talent relations. Prior to joining Starz Media he was CEO of Film Roman; CEO of Crossroads V Communications and Starbound Records; trustee for Riklis Broadcasting, and CEO of MCEG Sterling.
Amorette Jones, EVP, Worldwide Marketing. Jones is responsible for all marketing and branding strategies for Starz Media’s diverse units. She spearheads advertising, publicity, promotions, media and licensing efforts for the company’s productions. Previously, she oversaw worldwide marketing at Artisan Pictures and before that worked at MGM/UA, Orion Pictures, Columbia/TriStar and Universal Pictures.
David Ozer, EVP, Television. Ozer works with U.S. cable and broadcast networks to develop and distribute original TV movies and series. He has sold original series and films in the U.S. to ABC, NBC, Showtime, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and Sci Fi Channel. Previously, Ozer worked at DIC Entertainment and, before that, Sony Pictures Television and 20th Television
