Hope and Change - It's Time for Both!
A new year beckons and change is afoot!

So it's officially a new year and with all the talk about hope and change afoot, I guess HRTS might as well jump into the game with some exciting (and maybe some not-so-exciting, but cool nonetheless) announcements of things to come. While I won't be sending any of our members a stimulus check, we are pretty excited about some of our new initiatives coming in the next couple of months.
First off, (and finally because I know we've been talking about this for a while now,) we will be launching the beta version of our new HRTS website. Our new online "destination" will not only have a new look but will also have some new functionalities that will make your HRTS membership experience a more simple and pleasurable one. OK. Maybe pleasurable is too strong a word but it does get your attention! From a purely practical standpoint however, you will now be able to handle virtually all of your interactions with HRTS online. Purchase event tickets. Update your member information. Receive invoices and renew memberships electronically and much more just with a few clicks of the mouse.
We are also going to be hosting our HRTS membership roster online. HRTS members can login and search for fellow members. You can also search by companies or categories as well review and update your own member listing and more.
New to the site will be our new online job board, geared specifically to the unique wants and needs of our HRTS Individual and Corporate Members. This easy to use career market will make the process of looking for a new job, or a new candidate simple and efficient as we will focus our postings on "HRTS" level opportunities. (Or you can still scan through the millions of jobs on Monster!)
And what about the long anticipated HRTS Online Video channel? Glad you asked because we are set to roll out all of our archive event video from past HRTS luncheons and panels along with some cool additional interactive functionality in the next couple of months.
Of course we will still have announcements, industry news and links as well as our greatly expanded HRTS Members Photo Gallery so the site is looking to be a robust online destination for our growing membership.
And grow it has! I would be remiss if I didn't recognize our three newest HRTS Corporate Members: Initiative, HDNet and Bunim/Murray Productions, bringing the count to forty-eight leading companies who call HRTS home. Welcome to all we look forward to seeing you at the next luncheon!
Speaking of ... we are also about to announce the spring portion of our Newsmaker Season as well as some smaller members only activities, so the spring is starting to gear up as an exciting and eventful one for all of us here at HRTS. So that's why Hope and Change is the title of this article. I HOPE to see all of you taking advantage of all the CHANGES we are implementing for you, the HRTS Member. It's gonna be fun ...
