Welcome new HRTS Members

The HRTS is proud to welcome the following new individual and corporate members to the ever growing HRTS family.

Corporate members:

Individual members:

Liane Pritikin, Director, Program Planning, TV Guide Network
Pritikin heads the scheduling team, responsible for the 100+ hours of programming on the network every week.  Though several months new to this position, she is not new to the network.  She joined the company in 2005 as Director of Research in charge of both primary and secondary research.  Between the two positions, she took a year sabbatical to Jerusalem to learn more about her Jewish heritage and better understand the current situation in the Middle East.  While in Israel she consulted on various film projects for Raphael Shore, brother of David Shore (“House.”)  Upon her return to Los Angeles, she rejoined TVGN, bringing her experience in research, marketing, and strategic planning to her new position.

Prior to TV Guide, Pritikin enjoyed three years in marketing and research at the E! Entertainment Channel, and five years in marketing and planning with the Walt Disney Company in Orlando, FL.  She holds an MBA from USC, and looks forward to her continued opportunity to make a positive impact on the world through media.

Jeffrey Schneider, Senior Vice President, Business Affairs and Deputy General Counsel, Lifetime Television Networks
In his role, he oversees all business affairs for Lifetime’s programming, including scripted series, alternative/reality series, made-for-television movies and digital, as well as handling all west coast legal affairs for the company.  He works closely with CEO & President, Andrea Wong, as well as Susanne Daniels, Lifetime’s President of Entertainment.  Most recently, he negotiated the deal with The Weinstein Company that resulted in the highest-rated reality competition series, “Project Runway,” coming to Lifetime.  Mr. Schneider is based in the Los Angeles office.
Prior to joining Lifetime, Mr. Schneider was most recently the Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs for Fox Television Studios, based on the Fox studio lot in Los Angeles.
Prior to joining Fox, Mr. Schneider was the Senior Vice President of Business Affairs and Deputy General Counsel for MTV from 2003 to 2007.  In that position, he was in charge of all day-to-day legal and business matters for the network’s west coast operations, including program development, production, acquisitions and distribution.
Before that, Mr. Schneider was at the law firm of Katz, Golden & Sullivan from September 2000 to April 2003, where he represented talent, producers, writers, directors and production companies.
From 1994 through 2000, Mr. Schneider held positions at Paramount Network Television, first in the legal department and then in business affairs, where he worked in development and production on such shows as Frasier, J.A.G., Star Trek: Voyager, Clueless and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.
Mr. Schneider began his legal career in 1991 as a Law Clerk to the Chief U.S. District Court Judge for the District of Nevada, the Hon. Edward C. Reed, Jr.  He then spent two years as a trial lawyer.
Mr. Schneider holds a J.D. from the University of Southern California (1991, with honors), as well as
a B.A. in Communication Studies from UCLA (1987, cum laude).  He is the author of Unsportsmanlike Conduct: The Lack of Free Agency in the NFL [64 S. Cal. L. Rev. 797 (1991)].  He is also currently an Adjunct Professor of Law at Pepperdine University Law School.
LIFETIME is the leader in women's television and a top-rated basic cable television network.  LIFETIME Television, LMN, Lifetime Real Women and Lifetime Digital are part of LIFETIME Entertainment Services, a 50/50 joint venture of The Hearst Corporation and The Walt Disney Company.
