Outgoing Presidents pass the torch

It’s been a year of many successes and new learnings for JHRTS, from another successful holiday party to the most popular Drama Showrunners Panel.  These events would not have been possible without the continued support and extra efforts of our board, membership-at-large, and HRTS.  As we embark on a new year, we are pleased to announce the new executive team of JHRTS.

Mark Ambrose of Twentieth and Kathleen McCaffrey of UTA lead the executive board as JHRTS’ new co-presidents for 2007-2008.  CJ Yu of Fox Mobile will serve as vice president after his previous stint as JHRTS secretary during this past term.  Emily Berger of Fox and Michaela Starr of Twentieth join the executive board as first year board members and will serve as secretary and treasurer, respectively.

We believe the new board, led by this stellar group, will continue to bring notoriety to JHRTS, as well as increase awareness and community presence.  The new class already brings a level of enthusiasm and dynamic, complimentary to the returning members, and we are confident we will continue to see great things emerge from JHRTS.  To that end, this signifies the ‘changing of the guard’ and we hope you will continue to show your support of JHRTS.

It’s been a rewarding year for us, the 2006-2007 executive team, and an absolute pleasure working with HRTS and its members.  We’d also like to thank our board and membership-at-large for allowing us the opportunity to serve JHRTS and execute our initiatives.  We hope our relationship will continue beyond JHRTS.

--Best regards, Malene Sam & Kris Warren, Immediate Past Co-Presidents, JHRTS 2006-2007.
