JHRTS Film Festival Winner Signed to Direct
The JHRTS Film Festival Grand Prize winner Seth Gordon (The Problem With Percival) signed with Endeavor and Brillstein-Grey, and is attached to direct The Only Living Boy in New York for Sony Pictures. He is also signed to direct The King of Kong for New Line. Congratulations to Seth and to all the JHRTS members who helped launch this promising filmmaker's career.

Nominations open for JHRTS board members
The JHRTS nomination committee is currently interviewing qualified JHRTS members for consideration of membership on the 2007-2008 JHRTS board. The new board will be formally inducted at the end of June 2007.
 Co-Presidents legacy
With pilot and staffing season ending, we wanted to take the opportunity to provide this JHRTS update. When we joined the JHRTS board two years ago, one obstacle the organization struggled with was funding our annual holiday party without a prior fundraising event to offset the costs. We relied heavily on generous and in-kind donations from the entertainment community to facilitate this annual event. With HRTS' guidance, the board and membership's relentless efforts over the last two years garnered us financial stability, due in large part to the success of our 2006 Holiday Party. We are proud to be leaving the next board poised to start out the new 2007-2008 term on a tenacious note!
