WongHRTS Board VP Andrea Wong to head Lifetime
Andrea Wong has been selected to lead Lifetime Entertainment Services, co-owners Hearst Corp. and Walt Disney Co. announced in New York.Wong, who will have the titles of president and chief executive officer, will oversee the all aspects of day-to-day operations for Lifetime Television, LMN, Lifetime Real Women and Lifetime Digital, the cable network's owners said last Thursday in a news release. Wong most recently was executive vice president of alternative programming, specials and late night for ABC Entertainment.  

Congratulations to 58 year HRTS honorary member H. Phillip Dexheimer who just added to his many-honored career induction into Phi Kappa Tau’s “Hall of Fame” as one of the 37 original members of a membership now more than 80,000. Following WWII, when he served in the South Pacific combat area, Dexheimer began a radio career selling newspaper adds, but soon moved into broadcasting.  (Photo rt: Phil and Maria Dexheimer)

During this time he graduated from USC as one of its first night students. Making a mid-course correction, he turned from a successful career in radio-television advertising to enter the insurance industry. His clients quickly included entire broadcast businesses, and his sales records have never been topped. Dexheimer is also President/PartOwner/GM of KFXM-AM, San Bernardino, the 26th oldest radio station in the U.S.
