JHRTS got its new year off to a great start with a mixer at CoCo de Ville in West Hollywood last month. The event was a smashing success with over 200 people attending, dozens of new member applications handed out and everyone having a spectacular time, even cotton candy was served! This mixer typifies the type of sexy, exciting events JHRTS has become known for and continues to raise the bar for social engagements tailored towards Hollywood professionals.
With our board out in full force at CoCo de Ville we were able to convey the core message of JHRTS and the benefits of being a member in organization. Having our board so active in the community and producing these types of events continues to enhance our reputation around town as a friendly, savvy and powerful organization.
Looking ahead, we are in the process of putting together our first roundtable regarding ad sales in the television business. As revenues from advertising continue to evolve and television networks are forced to find alternative means of connecting their increasingly fickle audiences to brands, we thought it was no better time to have the players involved in this high stakes game share their thoughts with young Hollywood. JHRTS will continue to provide engaging, rich and pertinent educational events for our members and their peers. Our goal is for these events to reflect the current zeitgeist of our business and be out in front of the evolving trends we see ripple through the community.
We are excited about sending a delegation to the HRTS Digital Chiefs panel this month and putting on another eagerly anticipated mixer. We have a philanthropic event, a special comedy experience, more educational events and a couple surprises in the works for the Fall. We are on a roll!
