JHRTS had two fantastic events in May. On Saturday, May 17th, over 20 JHRTS members showed up in Venice Beach to participate in a Heal the Bay event. Everyone had a great time soaking up some sun, getting to mingle with peers, and cleaning up the beach in the process. (see photos below)
On May 20th, we held a phenomenal panel discussion at CAA. Every seat of the Ray Kurtzman theater was filled as Jonathan Davis (head of comedy development at 20th), David Nevins (President of Imagine Television), Christina Davis (head of drama development at CBS), and Rob Thomas (Executive Producer and Creator of “Veronica Mars”) discussed the process of taking a series from page to stage. CAA Agent Kathy White did an amazing job moderating this highly entertaining and informative lecture.
