In early February, JHRTS co-sponsored a mixer with MediaBistro to celebrate the launch of their daily entertainment news podcast “Morning Call Time”.  We had a strong turnout, and the event provided a good opportunity for the JHRTS membership to mingle with another Hollywood networking organization.

We have plenty of exciting events in the works for the next few months.  On Saturday, 3/8, we’re hosting a community service day in conjunction with LA Works.  A number of JHRTS volunteers will be helping to plant and maintain a garden at Daniel Webster Middle School in West LA.  We are also planning another lecture for late March, in which the series development process will be examined by a panel representing all sides of the business (network, studio, writer, agency).
